The kids have been begging us ever since we moved to take them to Canterbury Park. Cooper loves horses and gets excited anytime we even drive by the track. We finally made a trip a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun to see the races. The kids were even able to pet the horses after each race. What a fun family night. Who would have thought a horse race track could be so fun?
Today was our first full day as residents of Minnesota. We are currently living in an extended stay hotel. It is nice but it will be great to have a little more space. We forget how much stuff and space it takes to take care of a family of 5. I went into work this morning for the first time. It was fun but a little strange as well. There will be a lot to learn but it will come with time. We spent our afternoon eating lunch at the Cheese Cake Factory, taking naps and playing at Grace's new school playground. Enjoy the pictures below...
Always good intentions but poor follow through. We have been so crazy busy with 3 kids that keeping up with this site has been difficult. I am going to try to get started again with this new year and see how well I can do.
We got matching outfits for all the kids for Easter. They all looked so cute together. Even Tim and I had blue shirts to match. We are planning on using these outfits again for family pictures in May.
For some reason I can't get this picture to turn. It is not a very good one this week. She had a terrible rash on her face. We actually took her to the doctor and they said it was just a bad case of baby acne. Poor baby!
This picture was taken just after her bottle. This is probably her most content time of the day. She enjoys just laying on a blanket and looking around the room. We hope she continues to be such a content baby.
I couldn't get any eyes in this picture. We were also having trouble getting rid of the pacifier. She isn't a huge fan of the pacifier but when she does decide she likes it there is no getting it back.
Ashlynn is already changing quickly. At her two week appointment she weighed 7 lbs 12 oz and was 21 inches. We are all doing very well. Grace and Cooper are great helpers and love showing off their new baby sister.
Here is Miss Ashlynn at 1 week old. She is doing very well at home. She is a very content baby and spends most of her time sleeping at this point. Grace and Cooper love to help take care of her and of course love holding her.
Here is our the newest member of our family. Ashlynn Ruth was born at 4:17 PM on February 6th, 2010. She was 7 lbs and 7 oz and was 20 inches long. She is such a wonderful blessing!!
