We found out that our third child is going to be a girl and we got started right away on her nursery. This was really the first decorating of a nursery that I have had the chance to do. Here are some pictures. There are still a few finishing touches but almost done!

This is what Cooper looked like when I picked him up from daycare today. They are talking about the letter "C" this week and today they were Cats. Apparently it looked like so much fun that Grace felt she needed to be a cat too. We used some of my make-up to make her a cat face. I am just glad it all came off in the bath tub.

Cooper's favorite spot

Cooper has a favorite spot in our new house. He loves to sit in the bay window in the formal living room and watch out the window. He will stay there for 20 to 30 minutes at a time. I decided to take advantage of this favorite past time today. Tim went out to mow the lawn so I plopped Cooper in the window and told him to watch for daddy. I told him that I was going to go take a shower and that I would be right back. Apparently after I left, Cooper decided to remove his socks, pants and almost remove his diaper. Tim walked by the front window to find our nearly naked son waving to him from inside the house. He had to stop mowing and come in to redress him as I was still in the shower. I guess I learned my lesson.

Not much new with us. We are enjoying the beautiful spring weather that has finally arrived. We have discovered tulips and daffodils in our new yard. The kids were so excited. Grace gave me a flower for Mother's Day. She decorated the vase at preschool and then they added colored water to the vase. The white carnation is now green. She was so proud of her creation. It was pretty cute. Well I am off to take my much needed Saturday nap.
